What supplies do I need?

• any standard canvas (9x12, 8x10 or square canvases),
• basic paint brushes (medium and small sizes),
• a printer (to print out your pre-done stencils),
• basic paint colors (craft paint or tubed acrylic paint) Red, magenta, Green, brown, navy blue, black and white,
• a pencil 

Optional:

• Graphite transfer paper (I'll also show you a hack where you don't need any graphite paper)

Is this course paint by numbers?

This course uses the principles of paint by numbers to help you break down a picture into easy "paintable" steps.

The paint by numbers approach is a great way for beginners first starting out to learn how to dissect any picture and then easily paint it.

But it goes further than just a standard paint by numbers project.  You'll also learn where to find art-friendly, high quality photographs online and how to turn those pictures into a paint-by-numbers styled stencil using a free online tool( you can also choose to bring your own photo). You'll then learn how to create your custom paint palette using bare minimum paint colors (without having to buy all-the-colors).

This process can also be repeated indefinately with any pictures your heart desires
